May the love of God be with you! And with your spirit. COLLECT Let us pray that we will be faithful in serving God. (pause) O God, make us eager to serve you in faith, hope and love. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. SCRIPTURE A reading from the letter of St Paul to the Colossians 2:6-7 Brothers and sisters: You have accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord. Now keep on following him. Plant your roots in Christ and let him be the foundation for your life. Be strong in your faith, just as you were taught. And be grateful. The word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.
