Praying Together 2021

33 Week Gather Light a candle as a sign of God’s presence and sit quietly. Ring a bell or chime to start the prayer. The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. COLLECT Let us pray that we will have a deep respect for God’s name. (pause) God of the Universe, we rejoice to call you Father. Keep us always in your love and fill our hearts with thanks and praise. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. SCRIPTURE A reading from the book of Revelation 15:3-4 Lord God All-Powerful, you have done great and marvellous things. You are the ruler of all nations, and you do what is right and fair. Lord, who doesn’t honour and praise your name? You alone are holy, and all nations will come and worship you, because you have shown that you judge with fairness. The word of the Lord.
