69 Gather Light a candle as a sign of God’s presence and sit quietly. Ring a bell or chime to start the prayer. The Lord be with you. Alleluia! And with your spirit. Alleluia! COLLECT Filled with gladness at Christ’s resurrection to new life, let us pray. (pause) Almighty God, as we celebrate the resurrection may we share with each other the joy the risen Christ has brought us. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. SCRIPTURE A reading from the letter of St Paul to the Colossians 3:15-17 Let the peace that comes from Christ control your thoughts. And be grateful. Let the message about Christ completely fill your lives, while you use all your wisdom to teach and instruct each other. With thankful hearts, sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God. Whatever you say or do should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks to God the Father because of him. The word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.
