94 Gather Light a candle as a sign of God’s presence and sit quietly. Ring a bell or chime to start the prayer. The love of God be with you! And with your spirit. COLLECT Let us pray that God will increase our faith. (pause) Almighty God, every good thing comes from you. Place in our hearts a desire to please you and help us to show our faith in good works. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. SCRIPTURE A reading from the holy Gospel according to John 11:17-27 Jesus said to Martha, “I am the one who raises the dead to life! Everyone who has faith in me will live, even if they die. And everyone who lives because of faith in me will never die. Do you believe this?” “Yes, Lord!” she replied. “I believe that you are Christ, the Son of God. You are the one we hoped would come into the world.” The Gospel of the Lord.
